Brand-New Big Sister Ellie!

 

This girl is on Cloud 9 with her little brother. She has loved him since before we were expecting him. She used to ask us: "When is my brother coming down from heaven?" She talked to him and kissed him in my belly at least 5 times a day. When he was born and she came in to finally meet him, he opened his eyes when she spoke. How precious!! (You can't see her shirt, but hers says "Big Sister" as well.)

Our "Double Digits" Girl!

 

Leah turned 10 a couple of weeks ago. Hard to imagine and believe. Seems like just a moment ago I was carrying her in my womb. She is turning into such a beautiful young lady. For her birthday, we gave her a trip to get her ears pierced. She has been asking for quite awhile. She has been very diligent and responsible in taking care of them.
We let her pick her meal of choice - out or at home. She chose to eat at home with a menu of: her favorite baked chicken, broccoli casserole, homemade wheat rolls and mashed potatoes. Instead of cake, she requested a homemade apple pie with ice cream. YUM! Our girl is growing up! We love you, Leah! Remember you are God's chosen girl!
